Satish Kaushik, born on April 13, 1956, in Mahendragarh, Haryana, was a talented actor, director, and writer. He graduated from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University in 1972, and then went on to s
tudy at the National School of Drama and the Film and Television Institute of India. As a film actor, he is known for his iconic roles in movies such as Mr. India, Deewana Mastana, and Brick Lane.
He won the Filmfare Best Comedian Award twice for his outstanding performances in Ram Lakhan and Saajan Chale Sasural. He also directed several films, including Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Prem, and Teree Sang.
He co-wrote the dialogues for the classic comedy Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. He was actively involved in promoting Haryana’s film industry and was committed to making five films there.
